but there is plenty of cold air that's pooling up in canada. we will have tastes of that from time to time throughout the next week or two. notice throughout the area temperature not at all uncomfortable just a bit of a chill in the air. but dew point temperatures in the upper 50s and low to mid- 60s suggest the air is primed for a little rainfall. plenty of moisture up there. winds are coming off of lake michigan but hardly very strong. notice wind speeds under 10 miles per hour. but that cool lake water will tend to have an effect on downtown temperatures. this is our temperature forecast. the warm air and the oranges and reds. that's going to stay far to the south while this canadian air continues to sneak down into parts of the mid west and the in fact, by this weekend we will have a day or two of but from time to time again the hot air will surge back over the chicago area. don't put away the short pants just yet. looks like we will have a couple of warm days ahead. big thunderstorms are moderately big affecting parts of indianapolis. wind
